AMD and Anthropic sign a chips-and-investment megadeal

Anthropic will purchase up to 2 gigawatts of AMD Instinct MI450 chips (tens of billions of dollars of AI servers) starting in the first half of 2027, and AMD will invest up to $5 billion in Anthropic as deployment milestones are hit.
